   STATEMENT OF PURPOSE

 

The Cellular and Molecular Physiology Graduate Program offers the Doctor of Philosophy degree. The primary objectives of the program are to develop a fundamental knowledge of mammalian physiology and the ability to conduct meaningful research in an independent fashion. The Ph.D. program in cellular and molecular physiology is designed to produce physiologists for both teaching and research at the college and university level or for work in industry or government.
