I graduated from Goucher College in 2004 with a B.A. in Molecular Biology.  I was a 3 letter winner at Goucher in the sport of Men's Lacrosse.  I published 2 papers while at Goucher one I was a co-author on with the Title "UPS1 and UPS2 from Arabidopsis Mediate High Affinity Transport of Uracil and 5-Fluorouracil" published in JBC.  Also I was first author on another paper Titled "Effects of phosphate limitation on expression of genes involved in pyrimidine synthesis and salvaging in Arabidopsis" which was published in Plant Physiology and Biochemistry.  In the spare time that I have I play for the Birmingham Men's Lacrosse Club called Magic City Lacrosse and I also coach for the Birmingham Youth Lacrosse League.
