RESEARCH INTEREST

I am working on methods to increase the osteointegration of hydroxyapatite biomaterial surfaces utilizing collagen I and collagen I mimetic peptides to increase mesenchymal stem cell attachment and differentiation.

In 2003, with a BS in Biology, I became the first of the fourth generation to graduate from Notre Dame.  In what little spare time I have, I love to cook, read, and watch movies.
