Please note that
applicants are accepted into the CMPh Graduate Program in the 2nd year
of their graduate career. Applicants usually enter UAB through the
Integrative Biomedical Sciences (IBS) feeder
program.
Requirements for applying
to the Cellular and Molecular Physiology Graduate Program include the
following:
- A baccalaureate
degree from a accredited college or the ability to show that
requirements for the degree will be met prior to enrollment in the
program.
- At least a B
average both overall and during the last 60 semester hours, as well
as a combined score of at least 1100 on the verbal and quantitative
portions of the GRE General Test.
- TOEFL scores are
required from international applicants.

Completion of an application for the Cellular
and Molecular Physiology Graduate Program.
- Submission of a
completed application to the UAB Graduate School is required for
admission and a non-refundable fee of $35 ($60 for international
students) when the student is accepted into the IBS Program.
- Two copies of
official transcripts must be submitted from all institutions
attended after high school.
- Evaluation forms
completed by three different former instructors, employers, or other
professionals who are competent to evaluate the potential of the
student to complete graduate study are also required.
MS/MD Program

Biomedical Sciences Program open to current University of Alabama School
